Professional
Experience - Dr. Veronica Czitrom started working in the
semiconductor industry when she joined the Bell
Labs group of AT&T (later
Lucent
Technologies) in 1990. She did statistical training
and consulting for both the manufacturing and the research and
development divisions of the Microelectronics Group (later Agere
Systems). She worked at all their sites, including a nine-month
assignment to the Madrid plant, a six-month assignment to SMP,
their joint venture with Chartered
Semiconductor in Singapore,
and a two-year assignment to SEMATECH,
the semiconductor industry consortium. She later joined Chartered
Semiconductor, where she
did statistical training and consulting for both the manufacturing
and technology development groups and supported the Six Sigma
initiative.
In 2003 she established her own business, Statistical
Training & Consulting, based in Singapore. Since then she's
been doing statistical training and consulting world-wide for International
Rectifier (California, Italy, Wales, Arizona and the Philippines),
Wafer Works (Taiwan) and in Singapore for Chartered
Semiconductor,
Tech Semiconductor, Hewlett
Packard, Maxtor and SAS
Institute.
Before joining industry, she was a professor at the University
of Texas and at the National University of Mexico (UNAM) for a decade and a half. |
